There is a strangely familiar, dreadful smell in the kitchen. It's been getting stronger since last night. Now it's 83 degrees F. outside, which must be fermenting the dead animal in our shallow attic. Squirrel or rat? Doesn't matter; it's some kind of dead animal. It stinks. And this is in our KITCHEN!!

Thanks for caring. Yuck. The smell is still here but is slightly diminishing. I bought a gallon of vinegar last night and have bowls of it sitting around on the kitchen counters.
