March 1 is the 60th day of the year (61st in leap years). There are 305 days remaining until the end of the year.

In seven days my second child AE will have a birthday. And in eight days we will have the time change where we'll feel like we "lose" an hour, with the time "springing" forward.

In TX, we don't really worry about the old saying that if March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb, because our milder weather is probably mostly "lamb-like" throughout the month of March. This may be our spring, but also may be the beginning of our long, hot summer.
