Memorial Day









" Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. "

They are in formation. They are not marching, they are not in battle; no, they are at rest and in peace. We remember on this sacred day those who answered the call to duty.

Honor and sacrifice is their gift to us all.

I am honoring the memory of all and especially my parents who served in the Marine Corps for WWII and my dad in the Korea Conflict and in Vietnam before he retired from the Marine Corps.

Pray anyway/ any way



"Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. 
Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm.

Our lives are full of challenges...obstacles which God has already seen. Touching the heart of God through prayer on a regular basis will equip us to once again find the path when we have lost our way.

Please don't despair.

A New Email Devotional

Our spiritual journey allows us to learn by doing...also by being. Each contributes to the other.
Take time for both.
