Learning (or leaning) to Sit

Here is the latest picture of Avery that son DC sent yesterday. She has grown since we last saw her.

With my trip to Spain, we won't see Avery again for another month or more. My, how big (and talented) she will be by then!

Isn't it amazing how quickly those milestones come the first year? It seems like she was just born.

Awww, sweetness!

And your yearning post (back one) resonates particularly for me now as I tap into that yearning as I plunge, once again, into vocational discernment. This time around I have some concrete ideas, though there is still a significant part of me that gets left behind if those are pursued. A la Rilke, I am trying to live (and love!) the questions, praying that they will lead me into an answer.

Such a challenge to learn to sit up. I remember putting a pillow behind my kids because they had a tendency to fall straight backward when the muscles gave out. Avery is so cute!

I hope you have a great time in Spain...
