I love his work. I was very fortunate to have a Lutheran friend of mine gift me with a calendar featuring his work. Every month a new scene from He Qi. Yay!
This one takes me back to last night's service where we same the Tenebrae and the lonely sound of our bass singing, "Could you not watch with me one hour?"
I Love He Qi's art. Several years ago he was the featured artist for our denominational calendar.
